Job Responsibilities
- Report to Waltonen Design Leader
- Examine engineering CAD models, drawings, and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and sound design
- Interact daily with Designers and Detailers regarding CAD models/drawings
- Identify errors and corrections needed - ensuring that designs conform to customer specifications
- Provide feedback and address any issues promptly
- Regularly use Creo CAD software to open, manipulate, and modify specific files
- Onsite Creo training will be provided to candidates without previous experience
- Prior experience in checking designs within the defense sector is highly desirable
- Demonstrated work history checking CAD models
- Ability to communicate constructively and professionally with team members
- Familiarity with MIL standards & GD&T
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, with the ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads
- Only United States citizens can be considered
- Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance
- Checking experience utilizing Creo CAD software
- Previous CAD modeling experience is a plus
- Exposure to Teamcenter, a product lifecycle management (PLM) system, is a plus
- Familiarity with Vismockup is a plus
