Commercial Front Load Driver

Duties:
- Operate Frontload Truck: Safely and efficiently drive and operate the front-loading garbage truck, including maneuvering in various types of environments and weather conditions.
- Waste Collection: Collect and transport waste from designated collection points to disposal facilities. Ensure proper handling of materials to avoid spillage or damage.
- Route Management: Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely and accurate waste collection.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and report them to the supervisor if necessary.
- Truck Maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and ensuring the truck is clean and in good working order.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Paperwork: Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including waste collection volumes, vehicle inspections, and any incidents or service issues.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other drivers, waste management staff, and supervisors to coordinate routes, address issues, and ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License - Class A or B) with appropriate endorsements and a clean driving record
- Previous experience driving a front-loading garbage truck or similar commercial vehicle is preferred
- Must have operable personal vehicle that can be driven to and from work. Company vehicles are never to be utilized for personal use.
- This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Occasional heavy lifting and physical labor are required.
- This position may require early morning hours, evening hours, or weekends depending on the route schedule (not every weekend).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 60 per week
