What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reception position at Waterbabies LLC?
Salary: 18.29-22.00
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is comprised of various responsibilities which will be outlined below. It is expected the
employee will excel at each of their responsibilities and be a good ambassador for Waterbabies in the
process.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma (or working towards)
- At least 15 years old
- Experience working families of diverse backgrounds
- Excellent facilitation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous POS experience
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-culturally and relate to a variety of people with ease.
- High energy level, organizational skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides excellent customer service
- Welcomes all customers with a smile
- Give tour (or explain facility layout) & explain rules to new patrons
- Answer phones, check voicemail, return calls
- Answer questions & distribute flyers
- Help parents create account
- Show them how to use the parent portal
- Provides thorough knowledge of:
- Company overview (history, locations, sessions)
- Correct policies & guidelines
- WaterBabies Program
- WaterKids Program
- Adult Aquatic options
- Special programming (i.e.- Bathtub Babies, Open Swims, Supervised Swims, etc.)
- Parent portal, to be able to assist parents
- Product Sales:
- Knowledgeable about all products in order to provide customers with the best options
- Correctly completes product sales transactions
- Differentiates between transactions using ShopKeep vs JackRabbit
- Notifies supervisor when product stock is low
- Ensure security of cash till & equipment at all times
- Facility Support
- Support supervisors and peers, as needed
- Maintain daily cleaning tasks on Daily Task List
- Maintain emergency action plans
- Communicate with Facility Manager and/or supervisor regarding any issues at pool facilities.
- Participates in mandatory staff meetings and applicable trainings
JOB RELATIONSHIPS:
- Reports to General Manager (GM). Responsible to all Managers and Owner
- Interacts frequently with other office staff, instructors, parents of students and facility
representatives.
