Dispatcher / Warehouse Person- Boise, ID

Location: 3511 South Tk Ave. Boise, ID Position: Full-time

Reports to: Operations Manager Bill Gloudeman FLSA: Non-Exempt

Primary Duties

• Take the lead in dispatching route drivers, reviewing customer orders, pull stock, counting out sheets, prepping orders for delivery in the warehouse and stage by delivery route bays.
• Assist sales reps with changes in order size, product back orders and new products.
• We will train you to operate Commercial cutting machine.
• Drive a forklift, cherry picker, stretch wrapper and operate electric pallet jacks.
• Palletize customer orders.
• Have pride in your work area by keeping the warehouse organized and clean.
• Your safety is important and proper safety procedures should be followed.
• Consistent and reliable attendance.
  
  

Secondary Duties

• Assist in receiving and relocating stock.
• Break down empty cartons for recycling.
• Collect debris/non recyclables and discard.
• Inventory counts
  
  

Qualifications

• Clean MVD and current Driver’s license- CDL a plus.
• Experience driving and knowledge of the treasure valley area.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds waist high on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds with team lift on an occasional basis.
• Basic math, understanding of measuring systems, and basic reading and writing skills.
• Professional conduct while interacting with vendors, other company employees, and customers.

• Can work without direct supervision.
• Having warehouse knowledge preferred.
• Meet company and regulatory safety requirements.
• Move stock using a hand truck or electric pallet jack.
  
  

Working Conditions

• Warehouse and shipping docks in all seasonal weather environments.
