We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility needs.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide catheter care and support for patients requiring specialized assistance.
- Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Engage in memory care activities for patients with cognitive impairments.
- Support outpatient services by preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care in emergency medicine situations.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
- Assist in the management of infectious disease care protocols when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with medical practices and acute care environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of emergency protocols is beneficial for effective patient support.
- Experience working in a long term care or assisted living healthcare facility is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are essential.
