Compensation: $70k-$85k/year on-track earnings, including a $50,000 base salary commissions

Our client is a family-owned lawn service business based in Buffalo, NY with 20 years of success and a mission to grow. Currently operating at $1.2M, they aim to reach $1.6M in the next year and are searching for an organized, ambitious, and motivated Sales Manager to help lead and inspire our remote sales and customer service teams and our on-site door knockers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of two remote phone sales agents and local door-knocking teams, providing continuous coaching and conducting 1:1 sessions and group training to enhance skills in customer service, lead generation, and call handling.
- Design and update call scripts and lead generation strategies, aligning sales teams, technicians, and door-knocking groups to optimize conversion rates and meet franchise standards.
- Track and assess performance metrics daily, closely monitoring inputs and outcomes to support team projections and goal achievement. Conduct regular sales meetings and call reviews to offer feedback and reinforce best practices.
- Partner with a third-party marketing team to ensure ad effectiveness and high-quality leads, continually adjusting strategies to maximize results.
- Manage team growth and recruitment, focusing on hiring and developing top talent to drive long-term sales goals and foster a high-performance sales environment.
Requirements
- Have sales management experience in a similar industry.
- Experience with Dialer Systems (Spitfire is what we currently use) and remote workforce engagement.
- Proven background in customer service and phone sales (2 years preferred).
- Numbers-driven mindset with a passion for coaching and hitting metrics.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to synchronize efforts across different teams: in-office door knockers, remote sales agents, and on-site technicians.
- Lawn Care experience is a plus
- Managing a remote team is also a plus.
