Weems LifeCareis a residential treatment program for substance use disorders. Located in Meridian, Mississippi, LifeCare is open to men and women age 18 or older.
Weems Community Mental Health Center is seeking a Director of Alcohol and Drug Services/Director of Weems LifeCare. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operations of the 24/7 program as well as oversight for all A&D services.
Requirements for this position:
-Master's degree in Human Services field (counseling, psychology, social work, etc.) required.
-Minimum three years' clinical experience with A&D services.
-Experience developing, sustaining, and growing programs.
-Ability to ensure all A&D programs operate per regulated standards and meet all reporting guidelines.
-Experience supervising staff, maintaining a budget, and writing/managing grants.
-Ability to maintain a caseload and develop/maintain public relations with oversight agency as well as communities within the 9-county catchment area.
-Ability to supervise and be available for program that operates 24/7 and during emergencies and inclement weather situations.
