As a National Account Manager on our Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) team, you will lead strategic customer relationships with some of the largest retailers and distributors in the Natural Channel, including Sprouts, UNFI, and other natural independents. You’ll be responsible for driving sales, achieving trade and profit goals, and building account-specific business plans to address customer opportunities, competitive threats, and key elements like distribution, pricing, and promotions.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role demands strong customer leadership, financial acumen, analytical thinking, and the ability to develop strategic growth plans.
This position is remote but requires residency west of the Rocky Mountains with easy access to a major metropolitan airport.
Key Responsibilities:
Grow Key Customer Business:

- Expand product distribution by analyzing syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, SPINS) to identify trends and opportunities.
- Incorporate insights into account-specific business strategies.
Deliver Profitable Sales Growth:

- Achieve sales goals by developing relationships across all levels of retail and distribution partners, including above-the-buyer contacts.
- Lead top-to-top meetings and category reviews with key customers.
Manage Budgets and Promotions:

- Meet sales and trade budgets for assigned accounts within the annual operating plan (AOP).
- Design and execute customer-specific promotional plans within trade spend targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer marketing, trade management, and operations.
