Weichert, Realtors® is currently hiring a Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions. The Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions is responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of the Company’s mergers ands acquisition process including sourcing, engaging, and attracting prospective companies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and manages mergers and acquisition strategies, processes, programs and procedures to effectively attract, assess, select, hire and onboard sales talent.
- Builds and develops strong relationship and networks with industry partners and external sources to improve sourcing opportunities.
- Evaluates opportunities to outsource efforts, considering the cost/benefit analysis and alignment with the available budget.
- Tracks and provides reports to senior management.
- Ensures compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations, including Affirmative Action and diversity initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Certification, and License Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license
Experience
Eight (8) or more years of related recruiting, mergers and acquisition, and/or business experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to successfully recruit leadership positions
- Strong lead generation and prospecting skills
- Knowledge of current sourcing techniques and technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Strong oral and written communications skills; ability to interact with all levels of management
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong customer service and relationship building skills
- Good people management skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions
- Knowledge and ability to use typical office equipment (PC, calculator, fax machine, etc.)
