Finished Goods Warehouse Lead

Weinbrenner Shoe Company, the Manufacturer of Thorogood footwear and a company who values our employees is recruiting for a full time lead to join our Finished Goods teams in Merrill, WI.

The Lead member will help ensure that the Thorogood brand continues to be recognized as one of the best brands in the footwear industry.

Duties include:

• Informs supervisor concerning daily employee attendance in the department and all/any unprofessional behavior.
• Ensures all employees follow WSC safety guidelines and requirements while in the warehouse area including PPE and all other OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations.
• Works with other Weinbrenner departments for the purpose of inventory control and supplied goods.
• Communicates expectations and instructions to employees as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Has general knowledge of WMS systems and RF scan guns.
• Utilizes ERP system to monitor FG locations for inventory accuracy, investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, and create Distribution Orders (DO) and reconcile DO errors. Performs accurate stock movements within ERP system.
• Can lead, direct, and oversee a team of employees; able to plan out work week to avoid overtime.
• Ensure timely, effective communication with the Warehouse Supervisor on any issues that arise.
Knowledgeable in the duties of all other positions in their department.
