RESPONSIBILITIES: The Community Services Specialist is responsible for assisting the Community Services programs that help communities, low-income families, and individuals gain stability, including finding resources to assist and advance their economic status and offer economic opportunity. Assists with processing applications, data entry, contacting clients, scheduling appointments, and meeting with clients to set goals,

REQUIREMENTS: Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and possess the ability to use a variety of software applications including unit specific software. Ability to use basic office equipment (i.e., phone systems, copying machines, scanner/printers, and computers). Experienced in virtual programs such as Zoom and Microsoft TEAMS a plus.

Be a positive team player with excellent people skills, the ability to communicate and work professionally with all clients and co-workers with a positive attitude while motivating and inspiring others.

Ability to handle sensitive agency and participant information in a confidential manner.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Three years social services and office experience or two years post-high school education in related field preferred.

DETAILS: Salary: $17.25- $18.25/hour. This is a full time position working 36-40 hours per week in Warsaw, MO. Starting date: Immediately.

Months of experience required: 36. Application deadline: Open until position is filled. Grade: 4.
