General Description
This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing buildings and grounds of a long term care facility. Responsibilities include painting interior and exterior walls and trim as needed, maintaining, and repairing hospital buildings' plumbing and electrical systems. The successful candidate may cut grass, trim weeds, blow leaves, and remove snow as needed and clean the exterior of the buildings and may paint lines on the parking lots and other duties as assigned. This position will primarily used in Plumbing.
***MUST HAVE 2 YEARS PLUMBING EXPERIENCE***
This is a tobacco free facility. Chosen applicants must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in Agency and Bureau policies. Candidates must successfully pass a background screening.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in performing maintenance and repair work in one or more building maintenance trades (e.g., electrical carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, painting).
Licensure/Certification: May require specific licensure/certifications based on assignment.
