Position Purpose:
The Equipment Manager, helps to provide, maintain, pack, order, and inventory the gear and equipment needed by players and technical staff to execute training sessions, matches, road trips, and sponsorship/media obligations. This person plays an essential role in soccer operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative and insight to anticipate and meet player and staff needs to proactively assist with addressing challenges.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Share in our mission.
· Assist with daily equipment management, including set-up and breakdown for training sessions and on game days.
· Assist and support technical team and players during trainings and matches.
· Assist in apparel distribution to players and technical team.
· After each training and game, launder apparel and clean soiled equipment.
· Maintain and organize inventory of equipment, apparel, and footwear.
· For away games, prepare and pack necessary apparel and equipment for travelling team.
· During away games, responsible for all set-up and break-down of equipment used at training facility by players not travelling.
· Assist with equipment transportation to and from training facility, stadiums, bus/van/shuttle, and airport check-ins (note: this position does not travel with the team).
· Support home game day equipment responsibilities including planning, prepping, set-up, break-down, and clean-up.
· Act as a liaison and assist visiting team with equipment needs.
· Other responsibilities may be assigned as business needs evolve
Game Day Responsibilities:
- Set up home and away team locker rooms
- Set up and execute warm-ups
- Maintain field bag and blood kit
- Work closely with players and coaches to fulfil match-related needs
Travel Responsibilities:
• Pack all uniform and team equipment needed for away games and training sessions
• Coordinate with Equipment Manager & Athletic Trainers to ensure all medical travel bags & equipment needs are met
• Ensure the safe & efficient transportation of team bags to & from the home stadium/airport/hotel & away stadium
• Set up meeting rooms, training grounds, and locker rooms for coaches and team when away

Qualifications:
· High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Experience in a professional sports environment preferred
· Available to work weekends, game days, and other times (often outside of traditional business hours)
· Professional, positive, and proactive
· Effective communication skills, strong attention to detail, and solutions-orientated
· Desire and ability to take on responsibilities in a fast-paced, start-up environment
· Intermediate applied knowledge of MS Office suite
· Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for organizational business.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees, executives, internal and external partners.
· Ability to work independently in a multi-faceted, fast, fluid, and deadline-driven environment.
· Positive attitude and strong work ethic a must.
· Ability to work as business needs require, which may include long days, evenings, weekends, occasional holidays, and travel if / when necessary.
· Must have U.S. work authorization.
