Job Description Summary:
The SSA Supervisor leads WESTECH’s storage and warehouse operations for the U.S. Army’s Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) Logistics Support Services contract at Schofield Barracks, HI (SBHI). Responsibilities include overseeing supply management, hazardous material handling, and warehouse efficiency. The SSA Supervisor will coordinate with stakeholders, ensure compliance, and optimize resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the SSA with responsibility for all storage and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Provide oversight and guidance for Hazardous Material Management Center and Central Receiving Point operations.
- Ensure effective accountability of all assigned property and materials, including serialization of sensitive and nonexpendable equipment.
- Oversee functional areas of the warehouse, including stock control, receiving, issue, turn-in, shipping, storage, material management, stock readiness, central receiving point, hazardous material management center, and internal fuel delivery.
- Brief the Accountable Officer on warehouse-related issues and potential impacts on customer support.
- Attend Logistics Readiness Center briefings as directed or required.
- Plan and direct personnel and resources for day-to-day mission support.
- Network with commodity managers for disposition of excess materials.
- Coordinate the movement of serviceable and unserviceable excess materials for turn-in to DLA Disposition Services.
- Perform analysis of warehouse performance standards to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Review, discuss, and sign monthly surveillances given by SSA COR.
General Duties:
- Ensure compliance with Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) documents authored by the SSA Program Management Office.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in logistics or warehouse management.
- Familiarity with automated supply, fuel, and subsistence systems utilized.
- Strong analytical skills and research abilities to identify areas for improvement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions in supply management.
- Expertise in Army logistics information systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
