We are seeking Part Time/Split Shift Van Driver for our Day Support Program in Courtland, VA
Responsibilities and duties for a Van Driver:
- Transports consumers to assigned program destination, ensures that proper safety standards are maintained on board the vehicle.
- Complete daily records and maintain paperwork.
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and safety equipment inspections.
- Communicate effectively with diversified groups of people.
- Assist physically/mentally challenged individuals entering and exiting the vehicles as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- HS Diploma or GED, one year work experience transporting individuals.
- Valid VA. Driver’s License with acceptable DMV record (Required).
- Ability to lift fifty pounds, pre-employment physical and annually, thereafter.
- Commercial Driver’s License (Preferred)
