About you: In your role, as our Practice Manager, you’d be utilizing your strong personable skills as a confident communicator. General Description of the Position: The Practice Manager is responsible for the general oversight of the daily operations and team management of the practice. This role works exclusively with the owner and promotion of the mission and vision of the business. The practice is open Monday Tuesday and Thursday: 8-5, Wednesday 7-6 and Friday: 7-2. Expert knowledge in Eaglesoft and Modento communication is ideal.
This position requires the employee to be comfortable with a variety of responsibilities within the business. Specific job duties may change at any time due to business needs of ever evolving business growth. Management of the overall practice is always the top priority of this employee.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Help to Create and Maintain a positive and fun work atmosphere
- Understand team needs come first, even while working on another delegated task
- Experience with managing both clinical and administrative team members and fluid in dental terminology and procedures
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with ease while maintaining good time management, efficiency and accuracy
- Ability to run effective and efficient team meetings while partnering with the owner’s vision of the agenda
- Maintain scheduled work hours; be punctual and flexible to accommodate team members’ vacations, emergencies, etc.
- Implement KPI’s and hold team accountable
- Payroll, and preparation details.
- Maintain OSHA and safety standards
- Ability to maintain confidentiality as per HIPAA guidelines
- Complete any continuing education as needed or requested

Minimum Environmental Expectations often requires exposure to:
- loud noises that do not require ear plugs
- Hazardous materials involved in a dental practice, including blood borne pathogens
- radioactive materials used for X-rays
- Minimum Physical Expectations includes physical activity that sometimes:
- involves keyboarding, sitting, phone work and filing
- requires working on a computer
- requires lifting under 25 pounds and standing
- requires bending, stooping, reaching and/or twisting
