Essential Functions
- Regularly inspect the facility to ensure that Westminster Village North’s grounds, facility, and equipment are maintained in accordance with established policies and procedures and all hazardous areas are properly identified; report all incidents/accidents immediately.
- Maintain the heating and cooling units/systems in proper working condition, as specified by the manufacturer; prior to the onset of seasonal changes, inspect the systems for loose wires, broken lines, leaks, etc., and pre-start the units/system to ensure proper working order.
- Maintain the electrical and plumbing systems in proper working order according to manufacturers’ instructions.
- Ensure each assigned Worxhub request is completed on a timely basis; request assistance as needed; report all problems, delays, etc.
- Properly document Worxhub assignments, problems, equipment, timeframes, completion dates, etc., and process Worxhub forms to the proper person.
- Adhere to an established preventive maintenance program for cleaning, painting, maintaining facility equipment, conducting chemical checks, etc., according to state and federal regulations.
- Assist in inspecting, maintaining, and testing the fire alarm and emergency systems in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Perform administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submit as required and on a timely basis.
- Attend and participate in workshops and seminars to enhance skills and maintain a professional status.
- Attend meetings and participate in committees as requested.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as directed.
Education and/or Experience
- HVAC experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Formal technical training and/or equivalent job experience in heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems is essential.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
