Janitorial Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
• Detail cleaning and disinfecting of small kids classrooms.
• Maintain floors through regular care.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety standards.
• Carry out commercial cleaning duties in office spaces, restrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Empty trash cans, replace with clean liners.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintaining equipment to ensure longevity and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of safety practices related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use is beneficial.
