The ideal Lead Host/Maitre D is upbeat, personable, and responsible, with a hands-on approach. They should be a team player with excellent communication skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks while maintaining a friendly, composed, and gracious demeanor.

Skills/Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and maintain the schedule for the host/greeter team
• Train, support, and develop new team members
• Provide input on the improvement and delivery of the greeter training programs
• Work effectively with others to foster a collaborative team environment
• Capable of managing the front door independently during high-traffic times
• Proficient in using OpenTable or similar reservation management systems
• Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude at all times
• Build relationships with our regulars to make them feel part of the family
• Greet guests warmly as they enter, ensuring they feel at home from the moment they arrive
• Understand table numbers, seating arrangements, and the flow of service
• Handle phone inquiries, confirm reservations, and escort guests to their tables with professionalism
• Demonstrate strong communication and active listening skills to ensure accurate and clear information is relayed to both guests and the team
• Take pride in delivering genuine hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an upscale or high-volume bar environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Average $16-$20 an hour depending on experience
