Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities

Reporting into our Managing Director, you will be responsible for $1.2m advertising, marketing solutions and events sponsorship sales for Compliance Week, a leading GRC brand.

 

Your responsibilities will include, but won't be limited to;   

  • Selling our high-value advertising, bespoke webinars, data/list rentals, surveys, tailored marketing solutions and event sponsorships to blue-chip clients.
  • Managing an allocated territory, with a share of our highest value clients, as part of a team of three.
  • Delivering value for our customers to ensure repeat sales and long-term relationships.
  • Prospecting for new clients and expanding the sponsorship of our conferences.
  • Working closely with our editorial team to identify and deliver sponsored content.
  • Working closely with our marketing team to guide lead-gen build/ nurture pipeline.

Essential and desirable capabilities

Essential experience needed;

 

  • Solid experience of new business sales able to demonstrate being a high performer and exceeding targets.

 

Desirable experience needed;

  • Experience selling events sponsorships or advertising, but other product sales experience may be considered if you have a proven track record and confidence selling at a senior level, business to business.
  • Experience in a similar role with similar topic knowledge; GRC, Law, Finance, Data Protection, ESG, Financial Crime, Sanctions, AML
