Safety Manager

Windsor Door has a proud 76-year history in the garage door industry and is rapidly expanding opportunities and looking for a new team member in Safety. We're looking for an energetic individual who thrive in a family-oriented environment. This is not a sit behind the desk job!

• Conducts safety meetings, safety training, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
• Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
• Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on premises or at Distribution Center locations.
• Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices.
• Provides technical support to project managers.
• Risk assessment/management
• Administrative policies and procedures
• Multi-tasking ability
• Communication, meeting, and presentation skills that reaches many different audiences.
• Comfort with time reporting systems – ADP experience preferred 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related engineering discipline preferred but will consider experience in lieu of education
• 2-3 years experience in safety required in manufacturing
• Bi-lingual (English & Spanish)
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel.

Salary: From $70,000.00 -$90,000 per year DOE
