Responsibilities
- Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste.
- Train, mentor, and lead bar staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high operational standards.
- Develop and implement creative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences.
- Oversee budgeting processes related to bar operations, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food offerings that complement the beverage menu.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and licensing laws within the bar area.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Proficient in Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems for efficient order processing.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices to manage stock effectively.
- Extensive bartending experience with a solid understanding of mixology techniques.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management within a hospitality context.
- Background in food management or catering services is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team in a casual dining or hotel setting.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
