Overview
The Engineer in Training will be involved in advanced engineering tasks for water-related projects, including water/wastewater/stormwater design, water quality monitoring & instrumentation, field data collection, MS4 stormwater permit compliance. It also includes basic hydrologic modeling and sewer flow analysis.

It also includes basic hydrologic modeling and sewer flow analysis.
Responsibilities
- P erform complex and/or unique engineering functions and troubleshooting for a variety of water engineering and design related projects.
- Project work will include, but not be limited to , water/wastewater infrastructure design, stormwater drainage design, field data collection, and report writing .
- Project work could include regulatory compliance services , introductory hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling , plan reviews, and sanitary sewer flow analysis.
- Candidates will have a minimum BS in Civil, Biosystems, or Environmental Engineering .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to obtain Engineer-In-Training certification .
- Working knowledge of Civil3D and a desire to progress this skillset.
- Duties include office work and field work .
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills .
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals .
- Ability to communicate well in a virtual environment.
- H ighly motivated, possess strong organizational and time management skills, and excel in a multidiscipline project team environment.
- Knowledge of stormwater modeling software and ESRI software is preferred.
- M aintain a satisfactory driving record, as required by our insurance company, must be able to travel overnight and/or out of town, and be able to work overtime as required.
