As a QC Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products meets industry standards. Your attention to detail and precision will contribute to maintaining high-quality production processes.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and perform quality control tests on products
- Analyze and interpret data to assess product quality
- Utilize tools such as Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), calipers, and precision measuring instruments
- Implement and adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Coordinate with team members to maintain quality systems
- Conduct inspections and audits to uphold QA/QC standards
Requirements
- Proficiency in quality management and control processes
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools and equipment
- Knowledge of CGMP regulations
- Experience with QA/QC procedures
- Ability to operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting data accurately
- Inspecting and testing: Performing visual inspections, dimensional tests, and continuity and insulation resistance tests on electrical equipment and panels
- Verifying compliance: Checking that equipment and panels meet specifications and are installed correctly
- Documenting: Recording test results and non-conformances, and writing reports for QC supervisors
- Identifying issues: Examining wiring for loose or faulty connections, and isolating causes of malfunctions
- Reworking: Routing defective panels for rework and replacing defective control devices
- Developing standards: Creating and implementing quality assurance standards and procedures
- Coordinating: Coordinating the commissioning of electrical systems and liaising with clients and construction management
- Ensuring compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards throughout a project
- Reporting: Inputting into weekly progress reports on quality items
Electrical QA/QC technicians need to have a thorough understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and relevant codes and standards. They should also have excellent organizational skills and the ability to analyze and interpret information.

The Basic
Associate degree(AA) Technology equivalent from a 2 year college tech school
2-4 years related experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
