What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist position at WorkFit Medical, LLC?

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering radioisotopes
  • Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment
  • Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and confidentiality
  • Flexibly take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Follow all state regulations and maintain department QA procedures and documentation
  • Assist with training and educating new staff members and students
  • Maintain required credentials and CE credits essential to the position

Qualifications:

  • Certification: NMTCB or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine
  • Licensure: NYS Department of Health license in NM, DX, or CT
  • Education: Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine or graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine certificate program
  • Experience: Experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Preferred Skills: EPIC experience is a plus
