The Reprographics Specialist I performs printing services of various documents and products, including utility bills.
Essential Functions
- Performs centralized copying and offset printing services, including typesetting and photo composition, offset printing, analog and digital high-speed copying and bindery operation
- Maintains inventory supplies for daily reprographics operation
- Assist with the maintenance of every-day equipment, checking machinery for quality/safety and reporting problems immediately
- Undertake simple repairs and report other damages
- Operates every-day printing equipment in accordance with predetermined schedule of printing jobs
- Familiar with customer departments and become acquainted with their printing needs
- Performs mail courier services as needed
- Drives a vehicle to conduct WSSC Water business
Other Functions
Performs other related duties as required

- You may be required to bend, feeling, grasping, hearing, pushing, and pulling
- Business casual print shop environment
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Ability to operate standard reprographics equipment, such as but not limited to high speed copiers, single and two-color presses, paper/flat cutter, folder, collator, booklet maker, drill, comb binding, puncher, inserter and addresser
- Ability to perform basic maintenance on standard equipment including troubleshoot equipment problems and refer more complex problems to the reprographics specialist or immediate supervisor
- Familiarity with paper stock and other materials used in reprographics
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Possesses relevant computer skills
- Ability to follow and comply with all safety, security and work rule regulations
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse environment and be service oriented in working with customers which include staff and co-workers and to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside of the Support Services division
Minimum Education, Experience Requirements
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- 2 years basic reprographics experience or general mail room experience
