We are seeking a Quality Control Engineer. In this role you will establish short and long-term quality plans in order to meet quality targets. As well as report to organizations regarding quality metrics and status.
The Quality Control Engineer additional duties include acting as the main liason to suppliers and customers and lead quality objectives through Operations and Engineering teams within the organization.
Qualifications
- BS deigree in Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or Certified CQE.
- Minimum 1-3 years of quality control/assurance experience in blueprint reading and supplier involvement/development.
- Ability to use/operate quality control systems and ERP/MRP systems (SAP).
- Abiltiy to use current and future methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices.
- Familiarity with quality cost concepts, techniques and willing to lead Cost Reduction strategy within an organization.
- Knowledge of quality management systems within organizations and the ability to audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
- Knowledge of control of non conforming material concepts and implement/maintaining strategies within an organization.
- Excellent computer skills with a fundamental understanding of Microsoft suite of programs.
- Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with associates at all levels of the organization.
