Please note definition differences between Intern and Co-op :
Intern : Student works full-time during the summer
Co-op : Student works part-time while school is in session. Student may work more hours during the summer if not enrolled in classes. Students may work for a minimum of one semester or longer.
Both positions are paid according to current academic standing and job classification.

What we are looking for :
Yazaki is looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join our Quality Business Management System (BMS)Team team in Canton, MI. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization. This internship runs full-time from May 12, 2025 to August 15, 2025 .
What you will be doing :
- Project Work : There is no specific project identified for the 2025 internship, rather the intern role would shadow and support the work of the data management group within the BMS team. This includes supporting digital tools like SharePoint as well as development of documentation.
- Success Metrics : Metrics will be determined at the beginning of the internship based on the skill set of the selected interned and would become known during the interview & selection process.
- Collaboration : Work most directly with leaders of the BMS Data Group & in support of needs & requests from other managers.
