This internship runs full-time from May 12, 2025, to August 15, 2025.
What You Will Be Doing
- Project Work : Design and develop a robust database system that streamlines the tracking of Failure Modes, Corrective Actions, and 8D reports while ensuring alignment with Yazaki standards and providing actionable insights.
- Success Metrics: The proposed database will serve as a centralized platform to manage and analyze data related to product failures, corrective actions, and problem-solving initiatives (e.g., 8D). The database will also incorporate links to relevant Yazaki Global standards to ensure compliance and provide automated tools to generate potential shortlists for decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with your assigned mentor or technical advisor.
- Education: Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period.
- Relevant Background: Degree/experience related to the position business, computer science, organizational studies, social studies, information science or related field .
- Academic Standing: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Commitment : Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May 12, 2025, and August 15, 2025
- Technical Skills : Familiarity with databases and AI knowledge is a plus
