The purpose of the Racquets Pro Shop Associate is to oversee the merchandise and operations of the pro shop, manage scheduling for court reservations and lessons, and provide outstanding guest service while adhering to Yellowstone Club’s standards and expectations.

Experience/Education Required
High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work; One to two years’ experience in customer service; Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills; Previous cash handling experience; Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with Members, guests, co-workers, and management.
Experience/Education Preferred
Prior experience in a pro shop, racquet sports environment, or a related field, as well as knowledge of racquet sports, including tennis and pickleball.
Certificates & Licenses
Valid State Driver’s License
Computer Skills
Microsoft Office suite; Relevant POS system experience.
Language Ability
Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly.
Math Ability
Competence in basic math skills for inventory management and sales transactions.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a higher level employee involved.

- Ensure that each member and guest receives outstanding guest service in a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
- Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our members and guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
- Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the General Manager or Human Resources immediately.
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Club employees to foster and promote a positive working environment.

- Maintain and oversee merchandise inventory, ensuring products are displayed neatly, stocked adequately, and priced accurately.
- Schedule court reservations for tennis, pickleball, and other racquet sports in an efficient and organized manner.
- Manage phone and email communications, addressing Member and guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Schedule lessons for Members and guests with appropriate racquet professionals.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of racquet sports and pro shop merchandise to assist Members and guests effectively.
- Provide accurate and timely information about services, programs, and events.
- Execute all point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment within the pro shop and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with racquet professionals to ensure seamless scheduling and service delivery.
- Assist in preparing in-store displays and visual merchandising to meet Club standards.
- Monitor and restock inventory, reporting low stock levels to management.
- Assist with promotional efforts for racquet sports events and activities.
- Handle Member and guest complaints or issues with professionalism, escalating as needed.
- Provide support for organizing racquet-related tournaments or special events.
- Maintain privacy of Members and guests at all times.
