Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate different types of vehicles.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
• Load and unload products efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Navigate assigned routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including paperwork and receipts.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in commercial driving or delivery driving preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas.
• Ability to operate a forklift is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading tasks.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings if necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Seasonal

Pay: $20.75 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
