Position Details
Zeeland Public Schools has a great opportunity for a GSRP Teacher at our Early Childhood Center. The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is a locally administered, state-funded preschool program for qualifying four-year old children. The GSRP Teacher will provide quality instructional services for children enrolled in the program, incorporating Creative Curriculum and Pre-Kindergarten Literacy Essentials, while also working collaboratively with colleagues to provide inclusion opportunities for all students.
Responsibilities :
- Plan for and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum with differentiation for preschool age children.
- Facilitate and maintain a safe and appropriate classroom atmosphere.
- Encourage parent involvement through curriculum planning, school activities, field trips and parent training opportunities.
- Monitor and document student progress according to district guidelines.
- Work with the school’s Student Success Team as appropriate to offer academic or behavioral interventions.
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences.
- Collaborate with special education teachers to offer inclusion opportunities for all students.
- Implement building wide MTSS-B strategies.
- Lead and support classroom paraprofessionals.
- Maintaining regular and reliable attendance.
- Comply with timelines, laws, and regulations as they relate to district, state, and federal policies, GSRP grant and licensing.
