As a Solutions Designer, you will work closely with ZIO’s internal sales and engineering teams, as well as potential and existing clients and their respective project teams to develop and design comprehensive control solutions that align with desired performance outcomes. Your role will involve gathering requirements, providing direction to engineers to guide solution designs, and collaborating with both internal and external teams throughout the development lifecycle.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Designer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
The various functions include but are not limited to the following:
Become a technical solution expert in all commercial service lines of business.
Work alongside the sales team to provide technical expertise to qualify opportunities and close business.
Participate in industry events and continuing education sessions as identified by your manager
Analyze industry documents (bid forms, floorplans) to identify potential project scope.
Assist in client outreach for prospecting and client retention.
Work with the team to improve and reduce the length of sales process
Track qualified leads and create compelling client-facing documents, including proposals, scopes and budgets, and quotes.
Strengthen relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders
Maintain accurate account information and activity in CRM and Insight Software
Develop technology refresh plans and provide value-added recommendations.
Coordinate budget planning and provide updates on equipment and system needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field, or proven experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional environment.
Proven experience consultative sales, and complex sales processes on large scale or complex projects for large customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of A/V Systems, Lighting Control or other related fields
Familiarity with commercial design and construction a plus
