The company’s primary areas of focus are fund research, portfolio, and risk advice, FinTech and implementation solutions.  Albourne’s office in Nicosia opened in 1998 and provides back office and IT services to the regulated companies of the Albourne group; it currently has over 320 dynamic employees and we are looking to have more to join our teams across various functions in 2025.

The Role:

Albourne’s Communications Team is looking for an intern to support/assist the Editing Team to help deliver the firm’s internal magazine, create internal notices and curate news. This role will involve writing, editing, and collating internal news posts across the company and writing and editing industry news for Albourne’s free and industry website, the Village. We are looking for someone with strong written skills and editorial skills. 

 

Accountabilities:

 

  • Working as part of a team to ensure proactive and engaging content on all tasks given. 
  • Liaising with groups across the firm to write, edit and publish internal posts on a wide variety of topics.
  • Writing draft internal emails which highlight the key need to know points across Albourne. 
  • Work as part of a team to deliver the summer issue of the Albourne magazine. 
  • Learning how to review, aggregate and post daily industry news through the Albourne Village. 
  • Creating the daily Village news as and when required. This involves online news searches, as well as filtering and aggregation of current news covering the Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Assets and Real Estate.
  • Conducting spelling review to produce accurate and high-quality work.
  • Setting up the Albourne Village weekly newsletter when required.
  • Responding to Village enquiries if required.
  • Providing additional cover and support during the summer leave period. 
  • Ad hoc participation in a variety of Communications projects as needed. 
  • Participation in the Communications Team meetings and any training that is required of the group. 

 

What we are looking for:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and editorial skills (English language proficiency is necessary). 

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Interest in the alternative investments industry.

  • Excellent organization, time management and communication skills.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail. 

  • Abide by the Communication Group policies and procedures and the Albourne Group’s policies and procedures.
  • Compliance with the Compliance Manual and other Albourne Policies and procedures.

  • Attendance of Communications Group calls.
  • Attendance at company events as requested. 

  • Participate in or lead any ad hoc Communications Projects.

Job Type: Full time intern for no less than 3-month duration (2nd June 2025 – 29th August 2025)

Location: Dali, Nicosia, Cyprus

Work authorization: Must be eligible to work in Cyprus
