Amathus Corporation Limited, a leading and long-established organization in the Travel & Tourism sector, is looking to recruit a highly skilled and proactive Chief Accountant to join our team in Nicosia.

The Role

As Chief Accountant, you will lead the Accounting Department and play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our operations. You will be part of a dynamic environment where your expertise and leadership will make a meaningful impact across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounting team
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Oversee credit control and cash flow management
• Prepare management accounts, financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting systems and internal controls across group business units
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to support strategic financial decisions

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an ambitious professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings a solution-oriented mindset to financial leadership.

Requirements:

• Qualified ACCA member or holder of a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience; prior exposure to the Travel & Tourism industry will be considered a strong advantage
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
• Willingness to travel to company locations as needed
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office tools
• Excellent command of both Greek and English
