Client Accounting Manager (8106)

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly regarded Corporate Services Provider to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Client Accounting Manager to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Client Accounting Manager, you will primarily be responsible for providing accounting services to a portfolio of mainly international clients. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another closely related field, who possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience. Full ACA or ACCA members are encouraged to apply, and excellent communication skills in English are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Accountant for a portfolio of mainly international clients.
• Responding to client requests timely and effectively.
• Processing accounting ledger transactions.
• Performing reconciliations of control accounts, including all bank, debtor and creditor accounts.
• Preparing working papers and calculations.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Preparation of financial statements.
• Assisting with external audits.
• Prepare all necessary reports and analysis within agreed deadlines.
• Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES forms.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy & Finance or related field.
• ACCA or ACA, preferably ACCA fully qualified.  
• 3-5 years’ working experience, preferably in accounting services.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Good knowledge of E-Soft Accounting will be considered an advantage.
• Good understanding of VAT and tax is essential.
• Fluent in both oral and written English.
• Excellent team player who will take ownership.
• Professional and reliable.
• Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage and meet deadlines.
