Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Security Engineer to join our Networks and Security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networks and cybersecurity, with a focus on the design, implementation and management of network security solutions and the implementation of IT security best practices. Experience with Fortinet technologies is a strong advantage but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security systems to deliver cutting-edge security solutions to our customers.

• Develop and maintain security policies, support procedures and system/solution documentation.

• Provide technical support services, conduct root cause analysis of service outages and implement preventive measures and best practices.

• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to identify requirements, provide expert advice, and progress updates.

• Collaborate internally with engineering teams, sales and project management to support process efficiency and improved productivity.

• Continuously develop technical skills and obtain technical certifications as required by vendor partnerships.
   

Key Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Engineering, or other IT related field.

• At least 3 years of proven working experience as a Security Engineer or similar role.

• Familiarity with Fortinet technologies (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiWeb, FortiMail FortiClient, etc.) is a significant plus.

• Knowledge of networking protocols.

• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

• Professional certifications such as Fortinet NSE or similar are highly desirable.

• Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) will be considered an advantage.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities (in English and Greek).Friendly and professional manner with an enthusiastic positive approach towards tasks.
