R&D Engineer

Intergo Telecom Ltd, a fast-growing technology company with a strong presence in the industry, is looking for an R&D Engineer with a passion for technology, curiosity to explore new concepts, and a drive to innovate.

In this role, you will contribute to research and development efforts, investigating emerging technologies, security vulnerabilities, and software solutions. You will work closely with our team to design, prototype, and test software while continuously expanding your knowledge in networking, security, and cloud technologies.

Job Responsibilities

• Research and analyze new technologies, security vulnerabilities, and industry trends with a specific focus on emerging developments in the telecom industry and advancements in AI technologies

• Develop, prototype, and test software solutions, integrating the latest innovations to improve system functionality and performance

• Investigate and assess security risks, conducting basic penetration testing as needed

• Apply knowledge of computer networking fundamentals to design and troubleshoot solutions within telecom infrastructure

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into software and systems

• Document research findings, experiments, and proof-of-concept implementations, detailing the impact of new trends on system design and security

• Continuously learn and explore new tools, frameworks, and methodologies, staying updated on advancements in AI, machine learning, and telecom

Job Requirements

• Basic knowledge of computer networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, firewalls)

• Understanding of basic security concepts and penetration testing techniques

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C )

• Experience with Telecommunication protocols or Telecom industry is an advantage

• Experienced with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus

• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and frameworks (Wireshark, TCPDump)

• Knowledge of DevOps and automation technologies is an advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a research-oriented mindset

• Eagerness to learn and investigate new technologies
