We are looking for high-calibre and experienced IT professionals to join our Technical Project Management team. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be a critical part of the Technical Project Management team.
The role involves close coordination with multiple tech teams, business, and key stakeholders, to deliver the change. Ideally you will have experience of successfully delivering technical and/or IT infrastructure projects within agreed time and scope. You will be a self starter and respond well in high pressure environments whilst remaining focussed on project delivery.

The main responsibilities of the position include:
Deliver multiple technical and/or IT infrastructure projects of varying complexity and size
Manage all technical stakeholders and maintain strong professional relationships
Understand the technology landscape
Work with Technology, Business and Operations stakeholders to define project scope, roadmap and milestones aligned to delivery strategy
Actively manage technical risks and technical opportunities
Organise, run, and facilitate ceremonies with technical teams
Conceptualise key technical principles, aims and objectives to map the impact on current systems, processes, applications, and tools
Organise technical meetings, peer reviews with the project team and other technical stakeholders and experts to perform the solution technical validation
Ensure that technical project reporting is up to date and well communicated to stakeholders
Produce well defined technical delivery plans that outline key project activities, their sequence and delivery timelines
Ensure collaboration across operations and technology groups to agree on optimum technical solutions aligned to the technical strategy
Apply knowledge of project delivery methodologies to engineer bespoke approaches for the teams you work with
Engage with engineering teams to plan the release scope in the context of the release plan
Collaborate with other Project Managers to ensure the outstanding implementation of Project Management (PM) processes and the delivery of Technical and/or IT infrastructure Projects in time and scope
Main requirements:
BSc/MSc in computer science, engineering, or in a related field
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position
Working knowledge with Agile / Scrum / Waterfall methodologies and Project Management Tools/Reporting Practices (Jira, MS Project)
Wider focus on identifying process deficiencies, suggesting and bringing about improvements based on own knowledge and experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members, stakeholders, and management and ability to clearly explain technical issues
Strong organisational, critical thinking, and analytical/problem-solving skills
Result driven, with ability to prioritise work effectively and overcome any issues that may
occur during project life cycle
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to obtain stakeholders’ buy-in and cooperation across
Strong leadership skills, self-motivated
The following will be considered an advantage:
PMP/Prince II or/and Agile/Scrum certifications
Experience and knowledge of engineering, programming, or technical professional experience
Experience and knowledge of different infrastructure tools, platforms and technical process models and documentation
Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, devops and system engineer practices
Knowledge of databases concepts
Experience in financial industry
