We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team located in Gdansk.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in executing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations, with knowledge of payroll systems such as SAP and ADP GlobalView. You will play a crucial role in maintaining payroll accuracy and enhancing our payroll operations whilst managing the local payroll team and developing your leadership skills.

Responsibilites

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse employee base, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
• Utilize SAP and ADP Globalview to process payroll transactions and maintain employee records.
• Ensure compliance with Polish labor laws and tax regulations, keeping up to date with any changes.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Provide support during internal and external audits related to payroll.
• Assist in the implementation of payroll policies and best practices to improve efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior payroll staff, sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in payroll technology.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Several years of payroll experience, with a focus on international payroll processes.
• Proficiency in SAP and ADP Globalview is essential.
• Strong understanding of Polish labor laws and payroll regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in payroll process automation and optimization.
• Knowledge of additional payroll systems and tools.
• Certification in payroll or related professional qualifications.
