We are looking for an experienced IT Professional who will be part of our Cloud team in Czech Republic along with our global colleagues (Denmark/Philippines), vendors and partners in advising, building, operating and supporting our customer’s Hybrid Cloud infrastructure platform across the globe.
This role will focus on managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Azure-based solutions and contributing to the success of our organization's cloud initiatives.
This in turn requires you to bring together the concepts of Agile, ITIL and DevOps within both a technical context and a business context so we can deliver not just what our customers want but what they need.
Your Responsibilities
Azure Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure components, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking resources, and Azure Active Directory.
Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor security alerts, conduct regular audits, and implement remediation measures as necessary.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Set up monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor and other tools to track the health and performance of Azure resources. Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization to improve efficiency.
Automation and Scripting: Develop automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell or Azure CLI to automate routine tasks.
Deployment and Configuration: Deploy and configure Azure services and solutions based on business requirements. Ensure proper configuration of security settings, networking, and high availability features.
Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Troubleshoot issues related to Azure infrastructure and services, including connectivity issues, performance degradation, and service disruptions. Respond to incidents promptly and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and security specialists to design and implement Azure-based solutions. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster continuous learning and improvement.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services
Understanding Azure infrastructure components like virtual machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Active Directory
Familiarity with Azure security services and compliance standards, including Azure Security Center and Azure Policy
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks in Azure environments.
Understanding concept of (CI/CD) pipelines
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics
Problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and towards the customer
Willingness to be on call
You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, including Windows and Microsoft technologies alongside Linux
Nice to have:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (Exam AZ-104) or equivalent certification
