Role Summary As a ServiceNow Architect and a key member of our ServiceNow team, you'll play a strategic role in planning and designing our ServiceNow platform and platform governance. You'll provide technical leadership, ensure alignment with business objectives, and drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain ServiceNow roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient ServiceNow architectures.
Best Practices: Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and standards.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams and define ServiceNow development management practices.
Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Innovation: Identify opportunities for process improvement and technological advancements.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate technical decisions.
Required Skills and Experience
Technical Skills: Broad understanding of ServiceNow architecture and best practices (TOGAF/IT4IT).
Design Skills: Ability to create effective ServiceNow solutions.
Leadership Skills: Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship.
Deep Understanding of ServiceNow: Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow platform, modules, and capabilities.
Architecture Design: Proficiency in designing scalable and secure ServiceNow architectures and tools (UML, EAF).
Technical Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor development teams.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Requirement Engineering: Understanding and translating requirements into design.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, especially consultants and developers and provide mentoring to developers.
Specific Technical Skills
Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (e.g., Business Rules, Client Scripts).
Integration: Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems.
Data management: Understanding of ServiceNow's data model and database management.
Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize ServiceNow performance and scalability.
Security: Knowledge of ServiceNow security best practices and compliance requirements. Design and maintain Security concepts
Preferred Qualifications
ITIL Certification: Understanding of ITIL best practices.
Certified ServiceNow Architect (CSA).
Knowledge on cloud platforms and how to integrate with Servicenow (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
