Job Summary

Reporting to the Finance Manager in Singapore, the Senior Accountants will be responsible for managing the month-end closing process and producing accurate management accounts. They will also in charge the preparation of annual statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with local statutory reporting requirements, including tax filings and government disclosures via Skat.dk. In this role, the Senior Accountants will play a key part in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, and supporting audit requirements. The ideal candidates should possess exceptional problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to identify opportunities for improving processes and driving efficiency. They will also contribute valuable insights to support strategic decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain full-set accounting for month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Prepare financial statements in compliance IFRS.

• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

• Conduct comprehensive financial performance analysis, including profit/loss, cost management, and variance analysis, while providing timely, insightful reports to support strategic decision-making.

• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors to complete annual audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and financial reporting standards, and resolving any issues promptly.

• Collaborate with tax agents to ensure compliance with local tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns, including tax planning and effective management of tax risks.

• Ensuring Compliance with all local tax and government reporting (Skat.dk).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets, ensuring consistency with financial objectives and business goals.

• Proactively identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, errors, and process inefficiencies to ensure a smooth financial closing process and accurate financial statements.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and internal controls, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/ACCA certification preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, with prior experience in the brokerage, FX, or CFD industry preferred.

• Proven experience in group consolidation, full-set accounting, and handling complex financial structures.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS), with experience liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.

• Proficiency in accounting software (such as SAP, XERO) and ERP systems, with hands-on experience in integrating and streamlining financial systems.

• Advanced Excel skills to analyze and manage large datasets efficiently.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and in a team within a fast-paced, dynamic industry environment.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in both Danish and English is essential.
