Description
We’re looking for a people-focused HR Operations Specialist to join our European HR team. If you are passionate about offering a great service, have HR Operations experience, and are well organised then this could be the role for you.
About Awaze
We are Europe’s largest manager of holiday rental properties, with 110,000 units under management in over 600 destinations in 25 countries across the continent. Our purpose is simple – to delight owners and guests. The business operates more than 25 consumer brands including Cottages.com, Novasol and Hoseasons.
The role
Our people are our most valuable asset, and we are keen to ensure we provide them with a super service. Working as part of a pan-European team made up of team members across the UK and Denmark, you will be responding to queries from the Danish part of our organisation on everything from internal processes such as contract changes, queries on holiday entitlement, team member mobility, and parental leave rules and how they apply. We don’t expect you to know everything, but we will expect you to show initiative to work with others to find out. You will become a super user and ambassador of our people system, supporting with the roll out of further areas of functionality where needed. You will also work with the broader team to ensure we have consistent processes and policies across the business as well as supporting managers and team members with more routine employee relations matters. Last but not least, you’ll be supporting our employment contract flow including paperwork required through all aspects of the employee life cycle. We are a fast-paced business and there is always something new on the horizon so no two days will be the same and you will need to be flexible.
We’re a team full of energy and with a passion for what we do, so it’s key that you’re enthusiastic, driven and keen to be part of a team. What else do you need in order to succeed in this role?
Equally as important as all the technical “stuff”, we’re looking for someone who is hungry to learn, irrespective of their seniority. We don’t believe in standing still (we work in travel, after all), but instead think that everyone should be learning, all the time. Whether it’s a new piece of software, an industry event or a mentoring opportunity, we will support you to grow your skillset. If you’re excited by working in a fast-paced environment and want to join us on our journey, we’d love to chat.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits; we’re all about holidays, so we practise what we preach and offer some great travel discounts. We offer flexible working hours and remote working, too.
What else should you know?
We want to make the application process as stress-free as possible, so typically we’ll have an informal chat with you on the phone, followed by a comprehensive interview over Teams, where you’ll have a chance to find out a bit more about the exciting things we’re doing. We want to hear about your favourite (and least favourite) projects, what makes you tick and why. Then, we’d love to show you “our place” so would look to meet you for an informal session in our office in Virum, Copenhagen.
We believe in equal opportunities and aim to create a team that is representative of our society, knowing that embracing differences enhances the capabilities of our business and makes for a happy place to work. We are proud to recognise and celebrate that we have a diverse culture where employees are accepted for who they are, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or ability.
