Equipment Owner Visual Inspection (VI)
Would you like to take ownership for equipment for products central for Bavarian Nordic’s vaccine portfolio? Then you might be our new equipment owner. Whether you have Specific experience or experience from similar equipment, we are looking forward to hearing from you.

Meet your new team: Equipment Support & Automation as part of Drug product (DP) Technical Service

You will join a highly professional and strong Technical Service Department with Engineers and Technicians who is working closely together with DP Manufacturing as well as the management of projects.

You will become part of the team consisting of 13 dedicated Specialist, senior professional and professional.

The team is responsible for the technical implementation of both smaller facility improvement projects and heavily involved in all new major construction (Capex) projects, as well as supporting the commercial products. The team’s responsibility cover all DP area (Wash & Sterilization, Formulation, Filling, Freez dry, Visual inspection & Packaging)

The team is responsible for the GMP on the equipment’s technical side.

Become Equipment Owner in DP-VI
As our new Equipment owner, you will be technical and operational responsible for the VI machine, both AVI (Automatic Visual Inspection) and SAVI (Semi Automatic Visual Inspection)

Depending on your experience, your tasks and responsibility will be adjusted, and you will have a strong sparring partner in your other colleagues in the team and you Manager.

More specifically, your tasks will include:

  • Support the DP production, primarily VI
  • Participate and drive improvements and optimizations
  • Building strong relations to internal stakeholders
  • Drive, assist and deliver technical support regarding optimizations, planning and coordination of maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, shut-down periods, change over, requalification’s, validations and other optional tasks related to a modern GMP the system
  • Write and drive CR, deviations, CAPAs, SOPs, annual review, risk assessments, error analysis etc.
  • Give budget input during budgeting period before next year’s projects planning
  • Maintain and nurse contact to suppliers and other external partners
  • Secure progress, operation, quality, involvement, and relevant communication to all stakeholders

Who are you?
We do not have an exact answer to that question. But we do know that:

  • you have broad technical insight within mechanics and automation that might come from a Bachelor or master’s in engineering, Marine Engineering (Maskin mester) or similar.
  • As a person, you have a proactive and pragmatic mindset.
  • You can stand periods with high workload and time pressure.
  • You are a dedicated team player but manage to take decisions on your own.
  • You are thorough and structured and manage to keep track of the details without losing sight of or focus on the overall goals.
  • You have a technical background and/or have experience from a similar position in Pharma or Biotech and/or with GMP, it is a plus.
  • Experience within pharmaceutical production preferably in a Drug Product facility will be an advantage.
  • Excellent skills in Danish and English, both verbal and written
  • You thrive working with technical documentation at very high standard and written regulations for all aspects of your work.
