THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for a strategic and experienced Head of Merchandise Analysis to lead and grow our category & team of Merchandise Analysts. Reporting to the Merchandising Director, you will take ownership of our merchandising function and play a key role in shaping our commercial strategy. This hands-on leadership role blends team management with deep analytical work and strategic thinking. You’ll guide and coach your team to optimize performance across brands, support commercial and buying decisions with clear insights, and help us shape the category's future.
As we transition into our new Copenhagen HQ in 2026, you’ll be a driving force in building a high-performing team, leading by example and helping your team deliver on seasonal targets and long-term goals.
What You Will Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Merchandise Analysts across various categories
- Own and drive end-to-end merchandise planning and in-season trading to meet commercial targets
- Translate business objectives into actionable strategies that balance growth and profitability
- Analyze performance across categories and brands to identify opportunities, risks, and trends
- Optimize buying budgets, margin, stock levels, and product assortment in collaboration with Buying
- Support the buying process through detailed buying analysis, margin calculations and brand performance reviews
- Partner with Marketing, Logistics, Product, and Buying to ensure strong commercial performance
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Help shape and implement both short- and long-term department goals
- Champion best practices in merchandise planning, reporting, and analysis to elevate the function
YOUR PROFILE
- Proven experience in a senior merchandise analysis, planning, or business controlling role — ideally in e-commerce, fashion, or FMCG
- Strong leadership skills
- Commercially driven and confident in making strategic decisions backed by data
- Advanced Excel and BI skills — you’re fluent in the numbers and love digging into insights
- Highly analytical, structured, and detail-oriented
- Collaborative and communicative — you thrive on cross-functional teamwork and know how to bring people together
- Able to balance day-to-day execution with long-term vision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry

LOCATION
From Q1 2026, this role will be based in our new Copenhagen HQ at Kalvebod Brygge 1, 1560 København. Until then, you’ll split your time between our current Copenhagen office and our Malmö Head Office (just a 30-minute commute from central Copenhagen).
