Senior Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our international PMO Team.

At Configit, we empower large international enterprises by providing software products and solutions that support their complex processes in engineering, manufacturing, sales, and service. Our typical customer is an international enterprise manufacturing company within the automotive or industrial machinery & components industries. You will collaborate with a variety of professionals on different levels within our customers’ organizations.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be the key point of contact for customers regarding the commercial aspects of our projects. The technical implementation will be managed by a dedicated technical team. You will be responsible for project deliverables and budgets, managing stakeholders throughout the process, aligning expectations with customers, and handling post-sale negotiations during the projects.

Your responsibilities

• Creating clear and well-defined statements of work and project plans
• Leading and executing projects according to agreed scope, budget, and schedule
• Ensuring that projects deliver the desired outcomes and business value
• Managing risks and stakeholders
• Securing and tracking progress and financial status
• Reporting to external and internal stakeholders
• Forecasting revenue on your projects
• Ensuring the customer’s formal acceptance
• Collaborating with our Finance Team on invoicing and revenue recognition
• Leading, inspiring, and motivating the team

Your profile

• You bring 5 years of project management experience delivering software projects to external corporations and a relevant degree in Software Development, Engineering, IT, or Business
• You come with a solid background from a software vendor, managing projects within complex software solutions
• You bring strong business acumen and a drive to deliver
• You are customer-oriented and capable of building relationships with customers, being a strong trusted advisor capable of influencing decision makers at top level
• You have a solid project management toolbox, including experience with agile methodologies
• You thrive in an international environment with international colleagues and customers
• You live within a reasonable distance to our Atlanta office, allowing you to visit occasionally as needed
