Senior Accountant

As an Accountant at Configit, you will be part of a small accounting team consisting of six dedicated employees, including yourself. In addition, there is a Head of Finance & Accounting, to whom you report directly. In this position, you will take care of a wide range of tasks that require both collaboration and independent effort in your areas of responsibility.

Your responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping and accounting
• Accounts payable
• Invoice approval
• Reconciliations
• Domestic and foreign VAT and taxes
• Participation in the preparation of the annual report
• Participation in the month-end and year-end closing
• Preparation for audits
• Payroll
• Handling internal and external inquiries
• Support for the annual budget process

Your profile

• Experience using ERP systems; we use D365FO, Pallette, and Adra.
• Relevant education and minimum 5 years of experience from a similar position.
• Full proficiency in English.
• Proactive and passionate about delivering high-quality work
• Service-minded team player with strong communication skills
• Natural interest in learning and automation, not afraid to challenge existing guidelines to create improvement
• Very good eye for detail
