About the Role
As an MEP Design Lead, you will take charge of end-to-end mechanical, electrical, and public health design for high-performance, critical infrastructure projects. From concept to commissioning, you’ll drive BIM coordination, system design, and quality assurance, aligning every decision with client requirements and sustainability goals.
This role is ideal for engineers who thrive on complex technical challenges, interdisciplinary collaboration, and shaping the next generation of data center and digital infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full MEP design lifecycle for data center projects, from initial concept to handover.
Develop and oversee high-quality, coordinated BIM models using Revit.
Translate client needs into scalable, efficient MEP systems that meet Tier III / IV standards.
Provide oversight on HVAC, power distribution, and building controls integration.
Ensure design compliance with global standards including ISO 19650 and Uptime Institute guidelines.
Mentor junior engineers and promote team knowledge-sharing across disciplines.
Act as the MEP design authority in coordination meetings with clients and project stakeholders.
Champion innovation in energy efficiency, system resilience, and long-term sustainability.
Requirements
A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related).
Proven experience delivering and leading MEP design on data center or other critical infrastructure projects.
Strong technical background in mechanical and electrical systems design.
Proficiency in Revit and BIM coordination, including model federation.
Deep knowledge of resilience, uptime, and sustainability best practices.
Strong communication and leadership skills for team and stakeholder management.
Familiarity with BS EN ISO 19650, Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, and other relevant frameworks.
