Strategic Procurement Developer

Your key responsibilities:
The tasks in the position are many and varied, and will among other things include:
  • Collaborate with our stakeholders to develop and implement growth, supplier, and procurement strategies within assigned categories.
  • Spend time abroad with both national stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Organize category days and align on competitive assortments with a focus on consumer-centric approach.
  • Take lead on harmonization, establish a competitive supplier base, and conduct negotiations within assigned categories.
  • Represent Procurement in the Consumer Proposition Team.
  • Negotiate and optimize efficient packaging solutions in collaboration with our Supply Chain Team.
  • Develop and maintain Product and Price Lists (PPLs).
  • Utilize existing Procurement tools (PEP) and actively contribute to the improvement of the tool.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:
  • Have a strong business sense with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing and category development.
  • Are driven by working with consumer insights and data from a global perspective to create brand perception among consumers.
  • Have experience in stakeholder management.
  • Are experienced in working strategically with Brand, Category and Procurement tasks.
  • Have experience in TCO, project management, ESG, packaging and quality is an advantage.
  • Have experience and solid understanding of the Nordic retail business is an advantage.
  • Holds or intend to pursue an educational degree at HD-level as a minimum.
  • Are fluent in English both orally and written (knowledge of Nordic languages is a bonus).
  • Are a proficient user of the Office package (Microsoft Office).

Place of work: We have just moved to our new premises on Skelbækgade, Vesterbro.

It is a requirement to be able to meet at the office every week; however, it is still possible to work from home a few days a week. You can expect to have 30-40 travel days per year with the possibility of overnight stays.
